Deck overview

This Sultai deck is an optimized graveyard reanimation and attrition engine helmed by Teval, the Balanced Scale. The deck uses efficient self-mill, dredge, and targeted graveyard tutors like Entomb and Buried Alive to load the graveyard with devastating high-cost threats. On Turn 4, it leverages cheap reanimation spells such as Reanimate, Animate Dead, and Exhume to cheat massive Praetors like Jin-Gitaxias, Core Augur and Vorinclex, Voice of Hunger into play ahead of curve. These threats cripple opposing hands and mana bases while Teval generates an army of 2/2 Zombie Druid tokens whenever cards leave the graveyard. The deck easily defends its board with Sylvan Safekeeper and free interaction, closing the game on Turn 6 through mass reanimation with Living Death, overwhelming combat with Craterhoof Behemoth, or permanent land theft with Gilt-Leaf Archdruid.
