Deck overview

This Azorius deck operates as a high-powered competitive combo-control shell. It leverages fast artifact mana and top-tier draw engines like Rhystic Study and Mystic Remora to pull ahead on resources early. While Bard, King of Dale provides massive card velocity by doubling extra draws, the deck does not rely on its commander to win. Instead, it utilizes efficient tutors to assemble deterministic infinite combos, primarily Heliod, Sun-Crowned with Walking Ballista, alongside Isochron Scepter and Dramatic Reversal. The deck defends its game plan through a dense package of free countermagic, silence effects, and asymmetric stax pieces like Drannith Magistrate and Teferi, Time Raveler. Once protected, it executes an instant-speed infinite damage loop that finishes all three opponents in a single turn.
