Deck overview

This is an Izzet spellslinger-control deck that wins by chaining cheap instants and sorceries into token production and repeatable pings. Baral and Kari Zev accelerate the game plan by allowing a free lesser instant/sorcery to be cast each turn, or by creating a hasty Ragavan token when that line is unavailable. Guile acts as a hidden commander: once it resolves, every counterspell becomes an exile-and-cast effect, turning the dense counter package into card advantage. Secondary paths use Thousand-Year Storm and Archmage Emeritus to draw through the deck before closing with Fiery Inscription, Guttersnipe, or a flying/alley token alpha strike.
