Deck overview

This is a Mardu aristocrats and graveyard-theft deck helmed by Tariel, Reckoner of Souls. The plan mixes sacrifice fodder, death-trigger drains, and repeated reanimation/theft to convert opponents' graveyards and your own chump bodies into life loss and board presence. Tariel, Reckoner of Souls is a late-game value engine that randomly reanimates opposing creatures, but the 99 already runs independent theft (Puppeteer Clique, Macabre Mockery, Animate Dead, Reanimate, The Eldest Reborn) and aristocrats payoffs (Blood Artist, Elas il-Kor, Sadistic Pilgrim, Mayhem Devil, Teysa Karlov). Wins come from incremental drain loops amplified by Teysa Karlov, combat with stolen threats, and occasional Mindcrank mill pressure-not from infinite combos. The curve is modest (AMV 2.80) with solid rock ramp, but Tariel's seven-mana cost keeps the commander on a slower timeline.
