Deck overview

This deck is a mono-blue artifact midrange strategy helmed by Emry, Lurker of the Loch. It leverages self-mill, affinity cost reduction, and graveyard recursion to build an expansive board of artifacts while drawing deep into the library. Early turns focus on establishing cheap utility artifacts and cost reducers to deploy Emry on Turn 2. Once active, Emry turns the graveyard into an accessible extension of the hand, recurring cantrips and protective pieces like Mishra's Bauble and Welding Jar. As the board develops, token generators like Sai, Master Thopterist amass a wide flying army, while large threats like Kappa Cannoneer and Metalwork Colossus apply immediate combat pressure. The deck closes games around Turn 6 to 8 by turning noncreature artifacts into lethal 4/4 fliers with Cyberdrive Awakener. Supported by cheap countermagic and hexproof shielding, the deck delivers steady, resilient, and evasive artifact pressure across the table.
