Deck overview

This mono-green deck combines Bear kindred synergies with a robust landfall ramp engine led by Lumra, Bellow of the Woods. The early game focuses on deploying efficient Bear creatures and accelerating land drops with cards like Burgeoning, Studious First-Year, and Nissa's Pilgrimage. On Turn 5, Lumra enters as a massive threat that scales with your land count while retrieving milled lands to surge ahead on mana. On Turn 6, the deck converts its huge mana base and wide creature presence into a lethal offensive using mass pump effects such as Unnatural Growth, Preposterous Proportions, and Surrak and Goreclaw. While the deck has high board resilience and readily recasts its commander, it relies on combat damage across multiple turns and has limited stack interaction. It thrives by overwhelming the board with high-stat threats and steady combat pressure.
