k’rrik test deck by user5739014

Format: Commander

Commander: K'rrik, Son of Yawgmoth

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This is a mono-black combo/storm deck helmed by K'rrik, Son of Yawgmoth, built to convert life into mana and card velocity into an accelerated win. The plan is to weaponize K'rrik's phyrexian-mana discount alongside fast rituals and mana rocks, then use tutors and burst draw to assemble one of several compact kill lines: Aetherflux Reservoir backed by life-gain loops, Sanguine Bond/Exquisite Blood or Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose/Bloodthirsty Conqueror drain loops, or Bolas's Citadel storming off the top of the library. K'rrik is the primary enabler, accelerating nearly every spell in the deck, but the combo lines themselves live in the 99.
