Treasures by Hellzpyro

Format: Commander

Commander: Jan Jansen, Chaos Crafter

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Mardu artifact-token deck helmed by Jan Jansen, Chaos Crafter is a synergistic engine built around creating, sacrificing, and converting Treasure tokens and artifact creatures. The primary game plan is to generate a critical mass of tokens, use Jan Jansen to toggle between mana (Treasures) and bodies (Construct tokens), then overwhelm opponents with combat damage amplified by City on Fire or the extra-combat effects of Scourge of the Throne and Great Train Heist. The deck also threatens a Hellkite Tyrant artifact-count win condition and can build explosive mana through Radiant Lotus and Ashnod's Altar. While the commander accelerates the token loop, the deck has a broad suite of independent token generators (Goldspan Dragon, Professional Face-Breaker, Xorn) and draw engines (Bennie Bracks, Zoologist, Faramir, Field Commander), allowing it to execute its plan even without Jan Jansen.
