Deck overview

This Mardu Vampire deck is led by Edgar Markov, utilizing his powerful Eminence ability to generate a steady stream of 1/1 Vampire tokens whenever a Vampire spell is cast from hand. The core game plan revolves around flooding the battlefield with low-mana-value Vampires, multiplying the board presence with free tokens, and scaling the army via tribal lords, +1/+1 counter engines, and massive damage amplifiers like Shared Animosity and Akroma's Will. Secondary aristocrat drain engines (Blood Artist, Cruel Celebrant, Vengeful Bloodwitch) punish opponents for attempting board wipes while converting incidental creature deaths into life swings. For alternate late-game victories, the deck features the two-card infinite combo of Exquisite Blood and Sanguine Bond, alongside high-impact spells like Bolas's Citadel and Ruinous Ultimatum. The strategy is fast, resilient against single-target removal, and capable of applying overwhelming pressure across the entire table.
