Deck overview

This deck is a high-powered 5-color Dragon Tribal Stompy strategy commanded by The Ur-Dragon. The deck leverages the commander's passive eminence ability from the command zone to discount all Dragon spells by one mana throughout the entire match. In the early game, cheap ramp spells, mana creatures, and mana rocks establish all five colors and accelerate mana production. By Turn 4, the deck deploys key engine pieces and haste enablers like Temur Ascendancy, Dragon Tempest, or Miirym, Sentinel Wyrm. On Turn 5, explosive Dragons such as Terror of the Peaks, Utvara Hellkite, and Tiamat hit the board, generating massive enter-the-battlefield burn and token armies. The deck reliably closes out games on Turn 6 by overwhelming all three opponents with flying combat damage and direct trigger damage. It also features a clean infinite combat loop using Savage Ventmaw and Aggravated Assault.
