Deck overview

This deck is a Selesnya "vanilla matters" combat strategy built around Jasmine Boreal of the Seven. The commander's activated ability produces {G}{W} exclusively for creature spells with no abilities, and she grants all your vanilla creatures the ability to bypass creatures with abilities (the vast majority of blockers). The game plan is to deploy a critical mass of creatures that have no abilities-ranging from Gigantosaurus to Leatherback Baloth-and use the commander's evasion to push through damage. Support cards like Zopandrel, Hunger Dominus and Unnatural Growth double power and toughness each combat, turning a moderate board into a lethal one. Card advantage comes from Beast Whisperer, Tribute to the World Tree, and The Great Henge, which all trigger on creature ETBs. The deck has no infinite combos; it wins purely through incremental combat damage across multiple turns.
