Nick Fury and Lurrus by iamthewalrus

Format: Commander

Commander: Nick Fury, Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D.

Bracket: 5

Deck overview

Nick Fury is a one-mana tutor that can put a Hero, Equipment, or Vehicle onto the battlefield. The deck is built around his power-up to fetch Jennifer Walters // The Sensational She-Hulk and put her into play, using the 'opponents can't cast spells during your turn' lockout to protect the combo. The primary win is Thassa's Oracle with Demonic Consultation or Tainted Pact emptying the library. The secondary line is Underworld Breach with Lion's Eye Diamond, Brain Freeze, and Grinding Station to mill the table. Fast mana, 12+ tutors, and a 1.65 average curve make it a turbo-combo deck; free counters, Defense Grid, and the She-Hulk lockout protect the winning turn. The hidden commander is Jennifer Walters, and the deck is built to use her transformed back face.
