Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Blech, Loafing Pest is a Golgari lifegain and +1/+1 counter deck built around its commander's ability to turn each life-gain trigger into counters on Pests, Bats, Insects, Snakes, and Spiders. The primary plan is to go wide with token creatures, trigger lifegain repeatedly, and finish with an overrun attack. Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose provides a secondary drain path, and Valentin//Lisette acts as a backup life-gain-to-counter engine. The deck has no hidden commander; it is a resilient, incremental midrange list that relies on recursion and counter multiplication rather than a compact combo.
