Winota

Commander: Bartz Klauser

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Winota, Joiner of Forces is the engine of this Boros aggro deck: cheap non-Human creatures and token spells attack, and each attack trigger cheats a Human from the top of the library into combat. The primary plan is a wide, hasty attack that snowballs through enter-the-battlefield anthems and double-strike/double-damage payoffs, finishing with one massive combat. Secondary paths include token swarm with pump effects and incidental drain from Molten Gatekeeper and Pia and Kiran Nalaar. Alexios is an extra beater, not a hidden commander; there is no double-faced commander. The deck has no infinite combo and depends on Winota's battlefield-tutor engine for card advantage.
