Deck overview

This mono-black control deck turns opposing creature deaths into lethal commander power. Led by Vincent Valentine // Galian Beast, the strategy forces each player to sacrifice creatures repeatedly using efficient edict creatures such as Plaguecrafter and Accursed Marauder. As opponents sacrifice their boards, Vincent grows rapidly with +1/+1 counters and transforms into Galian Beast upon attacking, gaining trample and lifelink to pressure opponents with lethal commander damage. Supported by asymmetric attrition engines like Dictate of Erebos and Tergrid, God of Fright // Tergrid's Lantern, the deck simultaneously dismantles opposing battlefields while building a massive, resilient combat threat. Burn-out payoffs like Gray Merchant of Asphodel and Vein Ripper ensure that token-heavy boards or stubborn defenses can still be drained out directly.
