Deck overview

This deck is a Bant Historic Go-Wide aggro build commanded by Alistair, the Brigadier. It leverages a heavy concentration of artifacts, legendary creatures, and Sagas to repeatedly trigger Alistair's ability, creating an expansive army of 1/1 white Soldier creature tokens. Once a substantial board is assembled, the deck relies on static legendary anthems such as Flowering of the White Tree and Day of Destiny, high-impact top-end bombs like Displaced Dinosaurs, or Alistair's activated overrun ability for eight mana to trample over defending players. While resilient against mid-tier board states due to layered defensive tools like Heroic Intervention and Vexilus Praetor, its overall game plan is fair and transparent, requiring multiple combat steps to close the table. It eschews infinite combos and fast mana in favor of thematic synergy and midgame creature pressure.
