Umbris - Optimum by user1227018

Format: Commander

Commander: Umbris, Fear Manifest

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Umbris, Fear Manifest is the engine and finisher: every Horror/Nightmare ETB exiles cards, and those exiled cards make Umbris enormous. The primary plan is to land Umbris early, chain Horror/Nightmare triggers and mass-exile spells such as Tasha's Hideous Laughter, then kill with unblockable commander damage. Secondary paths are mill-to-empty via The Mindskinner and theft/reanimation through Captain N'ghathrod, Helm of Obedience, and Reanimate. The Mindskinner acts as a hidden commander that converts Umbris's damage into mass mill. A dense counterspell suite and free interaction keep the board clear while the exile count climbs.
