Deck overview

This deck is a Bant Group Hug and Pillowfort strategy led by Ms. Bumbleflower. The primary game plan revolves around generating high card velocity through the commander's double-spell triggers, supplemented by symmetrical draw engines like Howling Mine, Kwain, Itinerant Meddler, and Rites of Flourishing. To prevent opponents from turning these extra resources against you, the deck sets up defensive deterrents including Propaganda, Baird, Steward of Argive, and Authority of the Consuls, alongside mana engines like Smothering Tithe. Rather than relying on combat boards, the deck closes out games using decisive alternate win conditions, primarily Approach of the Second Sun dug up and recast via draw velocity, or Simic Ascendancy charged with +1/+1 counters. With flexible stack interaction, fogs, and pillowfort barriers, the deck manages multiplayer threat perception before securing a non-combat victory.
