Deck overview

This deck is an aggressive Mono-Green Stompy engine commanded by Ghalta, Primal Hunger. The primary game plan accelerates mana early with efficient dorks and land ramp, quickly deploying under-costed high-power creatures like Steel Leaf Champion, Yorvo, Lord of Garenbrig, and Gigantosaurus. These large bodies reduce Ghalta's casting cost down to just {G}{G}, allowing a 12/12 trampler to hit the battlefield as early as Turn 4. Once Ghalta is in play, the deck converts its 12 power into massive card advantage and mana through spells like Greater Good, Rishkar's Expertise, and Selvala, Heart of the Wilds. The deck closes out games by chaining explosive overrun effects such as Overwhelming Stampede, Craterhoof Behemoth, and Unnatural Growth, or by executing an infinite mana and draw loop with Staff of Domination. While vulnerable to sweepers and spell-based combos, its high redundancy and power-scaling draw make it a fast, resilient combat deck.
