Format: Commander

Commander: Dáin of the Ancient Halls

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Dain of the Ancient Halls is a Boros Dwarf-tribal finisher. The deck builds a wide Dwarf board, uses Treasure producers (Magda, Thorin, Kili) to accelerate and turn on storied, then drops Dain and attacks in the same turn. Damage multipliers such as Bifur, Torbran, and The Rollercrusher Ride convert his attack trigger into a one-shot 40-damage kill. Magda acts as a hidden commander, generating a Treasure whenever a Dwarf taps and tutoring an artifact with five Treasures. A secondary equipment package around Bruenor, Hammer of Nazahn, and Shared Animosity provides a combat fallback, while Balin, Loremaster doubles as a draw-and-damage outlet.
