Deck overview

Liberator, Urza's Battlethopter leads a colorless big-mana strategy that turns traditional Eldrazi and high-cost artifact haymakers into instant-speed ambushes. The deck combines explosive acceleration—including Ancient Tomb, Mana Vault, Forsaken Monument, and Urza lands—with Liberator's flash-granting static ability. By bypassing sorcery-speed timing, the deck flashes in colossal threats like Ulamog, the Ceaseless Hunger, Void Winnower, and Portal to Phyrexia during opponents' end steps, dodging sweepers and granting pseudo-haste for immediate attack phases. Asymmetric board wipes such as All Is Dust and Ugin, the Spirit Dragon dismantle colored opposing boards while leaving your colorless infrastructure intact. In addition to combat dominance through Annihilator triggers and Blightsteel Colossus, the deck includes an infinite mana combo using Basalt Monolith and Forsaken Monument. Resilient protection pieces like Commander's Plate, Eldritch Immunity, and Darksteel Forge ensure your dominating board state safely closes out the game.
