Deck overview

This mono-red Dragon tribal deck uses Lathliss, Dragon Queen to turn every Dragon cast into a double threat by creating 5/5 flying Dragon tokens. The game plan focuses on deploying 2-drop and 3-drop mana rocks and cost reducers to cast Lathliss on turn 5, followed by heavy flying threats on subsequent turns. Direct-damage triggers from cards like Dragon Tempest and Scourge of Valkas convert creature deployments into immediate burn, while finishers like Utvara Hellkite and Terror of Mount Velus rapidly overwhelm life totals in combat. The deck features strong redundancy among high-power fliers and asymmetric creature sweepers that spare Dragons, such as Breath Weapon. Its primary limitations are a vulnerability to mass board wipes, minimal stack interaction, and limited card draw when dedicated draw permanents are not found early.
