Deck overview

This deck is an Azorius Energy Mill strategy commanded by Rex, Cyber-Hound. The primary game plan revolves around generating energy counters through artifact synergies and combat connections, milling both opponents and self to place utility creatures into graveyards. Rex then exiles these creatures with brain counters to copy their activated abilities. The deck transitions into a win condition by resolving large-scale mill effects such as kicked Maddening Cacophony or Terisian Mindbreaker, followed by incremental mill activations to empty opposing libraries. While the deck boasts strong recursion through cards like Brilliant Restoration and Does Machines, it suffers from a low land count of 29 lands, high mana costs on top-end threats, and an absence of dedicated tutors. Consequently, the deck operates at a deliberate pace, relying on natural card draw and multi-turn board presence to secure victory.
