Werewolf 2 by Ludo

Format: Commander

Commander: Tovolar, Dire Overlord // Tovolar, the Midnight Scourge

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This Gruul Werewolf deck aims to overwhelm opponents with a wide board of Wolves and Werewolves, using Tovolar's combat damage trigger to refill the hand while day/night flips transform creatures into larger nightbound forms. The primary plan is to deploy cheap Wolves/Werewolves, reach night via Tovolar's upkeep trigger or Unnatural Moonrise, then win through massive trampling attacks with anthem effects, double strike, and token generation. Secondary lines include Kessig Cagebreakers making Wolves from graveyard creatures, Howl of the Night Pack flooding with Forests, and the commander's pump ability pushing lethal trample damage. The deck has no true combos but strong synergistic pressure.
