Deck overview

This deck is a Jeskai Human tribal combat deck helmed by Éowyn, Shieldmaiden. The strategy focuses on establishing early Human board presence, ramping into Éowyn on turn 4 or 5, and reliably triggering her combat ability to flood the battlefield with hasty 2/2 Human Knight tokens while replenishing hand size. Once a critical mass of Humans is assembled, the deck pivots into decisive combat pressure using tribal scaling engines such as Shared Animosity, Door of Destinies, and Beregond of the Guard. Disruptive combat spells like Taunt from the Rampart and the Monarch evasion granted by Aragorn, King of Gondor bypass opposing defenses to close out the game. The deck features solid board protection against damage and destroy effects through Boromir, Warden of the Tower and Unbreakable Formation, allowing it to push lethal damage across turns 6 to 8.
