PLANESWALKER by user5430000

Format: Commander

Commander: Commodore Guff

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Commodore Guff is a Jeskai 'superfriends' commander. The deck aims to resolve a critical mass of planeswalkers, using Guff's +1 Wizard tokens as additional mana for walker spells and his end-step trigger to grow loyalty. It can win without the infinite combo: repeated Guff -3 activations, Chandra, Legacy of Fire's end-step drain, and a Sarkhan the Masterless alpha strike are all clean finishers. A compact multi-piece loop using The Chain Veil and Teferi, Temporal Archmage exists but is not required. The functional 'second commanders' are Oath of Teferi and The Chain Veil, which multiply loyalty activations and make the primary plan much faster.
