Deck overview

This Orzhov Cleric Tribal deck pairs Shadowheart, Dark Justiciar with Folk Hero to convert low-cost Clerics and high-power creatures into continuous card advantage and sustained drain pressure. Early turns focus on establishing utility Clerics and mana rocks before Shadowheart, Dark Justiciar enters on Turn 4. Sacrificing high-power creatures or recurring Clerics draws deep into the library each turn cycle. The mid-game uses lifegain engines like Righteous Valkyrie and Guide of Souls to cross the 47-life threshold, buffing the entire board while draining opponents through Elas il-Kor, Sadistic Pilgrim, Marauding Blight-Priest, and Skemfar Shadowsage. Mass reanimation spells such as Patriarch's Bidding provide strong resilience against sweepers, allowing the deck to rebuild rapidly and eliminate the table through combat and direct drain by Turn 9.
