Deck overview

This deck is an Esper Lifegain Combo-Control list piloted by Oloro, Ageless Ascetic. Oloro sits in the command zone providing passive life generation every upkeep without needing to be cast. The deck leverages this life buffer to fuel powerful draw engines like Greed, Well of Lost Dreams, and Erebos, God of the Dead while using defensive enchantments like Ghostly Prison and Blind Obedience to deter early aggression. The primary path to victory is assembling a two-card infinite drain combo pairing a lifegain converter (Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose, Sanguine Bond, Enduring Tenacity, or Cliffhaven Vampire) with a life-loss reflector (Exquisite Blood or Bloodthirsty Conqueror). Backed by resilient board wipes like Farewell and uncounterable removal like Void Rend, the deck stabilizes the board and closes out the game in a single turn once both combo pieces resolve.
