Deck overview

This is an unusual four-color deck that plays like a mono-blue "color matters" control/combo list built around Orvar, the All-Form as a hidden commander. Aragorn, the Uniter supplies a 5/5 body and a blue-scry trigger on every blue spell, but since the 99 is almost entirely blue spells, his white, red, and green modes are largely dormant. The real plan is to use cheap targeted spells like Whim of Volrath, Sleight of Mind, and Sway of Illusion to change colors and land types while Orvar turns each cast into permanent copies. With buyback, Whim of Volrath plus High Tide can generate infinite Islands, and then infinite Stormtide Leviathan tokens for an unblockable islandwalk kill. Before that, color-setting effects combine with Wrath of Marit Lage, Llawan, Cephalid Empress, Douse, King Crab, and Well-Laid Plans to neutralize opposing boards.
