pain and mill by t-raven

Format: Commander

Commander: The Master of Lake-town

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

The Master of Lake-town heads a mono-black drain-and-mill value deck. Its commander turns every opponent life loss into milling, which fuels Syr Konrad, graveyard recursion, and Mindcrank loops. The primary plan is incremental drain (Ayara, Blood Artist, Gray Merchant) while filling graveyards, then winning through the Syr Konrad + Tortured Existence + K'rrik loop or a huge Exsanguinate. A reanimator package with Reanimate, Animate Dead, Living Death, and Rise of the Dark Realms provides board recovery and access to Vilis, Archon of Cruelty, and Sheoldred. K'rrik acts as a hidden commander, converting life into black mana and enabling the deck's fastest lines, though the deck can still grind wins without it.
