Deck overview

This deck is a Dimir midrange strategy that pairs Zellix, Sanity Flayer with Haunted One to turn mill into an aggressive, resilient army of Horrors. The deck uses targeted mill from Zellix, Hedron Crab, and Cruel Somnophage to spawn 1/1 Horror tokens whenever creature cards enter graveyards. Haunted One rewards tapping Zellix by granting all Horrors +2/+0 and undying until end of turn, turning small tokens into threatening attackers that survive standard board wipes. High-end threats like Captain N'ghathrod, Consuming Aberration, and The Scarab God leverage full graveyards to steal opposing bombs and deliver massive combat damage. Supported by efficient countermagic, low-cost removal, and recursion spells, the deck grinds through opposing interaction, controls the board, and closes out games through overwhelming evasive combat pressure.
