Commander: Sakashima of a Thousand Faces and Vial Smasher the Fierce

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This deck is an explosive Grixis burn and clone strategy helmed by the partner pair of Vial Smasher the Fierce and Sakashima of a Thousand Faces. The game plan focuses on casting Vial Smasher the Fierce, bypassing the "legend rule" with Sakashima of a Thousand Faces, and flooding the battlefield with multiple copies of Vial Smasher using clone effects like Spark Double, Phyrexian Metamorph, and Clever Impersonator. Each spell cast then triggers massive, redundant bursts of random noncombat damage across the table. Damage doublers like Dictate of the Twin Gods and synergy pieces like Chandra's Incinerator and The Lord of Pain accelerate the table-wide clock. The deck also features an infinite mana and spell-trigger combo via Isochron Scepter and Dramatic Reversal. It wins by rapidly burning opponents out of the game through copied triggers and explosive burst damage.
