Commander: Fire Lord Azula

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This is a Grixis spellslinger deck built around Fire Lord Azula's attack trigger: she attacks, produces firebending mana, and then copies every spell you cast while she is attacking. The primary plan is to cast Azula, give her haste, attack, and chain rituals and copy effects into infinite mana, then finish with Comet Storm, Crackle with Power, Grapeshot, or Brain Freeze. The firebending theme - Sozin's Comet, Ozai, the Phoenix King, Firebending Student, and Fire Nation Palace - turns combat into a mana engine, while Bonus Round, Reiterate, Dualcaster Mage, and Underworld Breach provide redundant, commander-independent combo lines. The deck is fast, low-curve (2.41 average), and heavily instant/sorcery-focused, with a tutor suite that can assemble the kill quickly.
