Deck overview

This is a spellslinger/mill hybrid deck built around Saruman of Many Colors, leveraging the second-spell trigger to mill opponents and steal their instants and sorceries. The primary plan is to deploy the commander, then chain cheap instants and sorceries to generate value through mill, copy effects, and eventually assemble the Mindcrank + Duskmantle Guildmage (or Syr Konrad, the Grim) infinite mill-life loss combo. Secondary wins come from cumulative mill pressure (Psychic Corrosion, Maddening Cacophony), commander-damage beatdown via copied spells, or a large Consuming Aberration. The deck operates at instant speed, using cheap cantrips for selection and a suite of counterspells and removal to protect its plan. Saruman's ward ability (discard an instant/sorcery/enchantment) adds a layer of protection, while Lier, Disciple of the Drowned and Gale, Waterdeep Prodigy provide graveyard recursion for key spells.
