Deck overview

This deck is a mono-blue tempo and token swarm strategy commanded by Alandra, Sky Dreamer. The primary game plan revolves around drawing two or more cards each turn to construct an army of 2/2 flying Drake tokens, then drawing five or more cards in a single turn to trigger Alandra's anthem effect and pump the team based on hand size. Dense packages of low-cost cantrips, burst draw, and wheels like Windfall and Echo of Eons sustain card velocity and trigger abilities on both your turn and opponents' turns. Evasion is guaranteed through asymmetric board bounce spells such as Raise the Palisade and Spectral Deluge, clearing blockers while preserving your token army. Backup win conditions like Psychosis Crawler, Ominous Seas, and Jace, Wielder of Mysteries ensure that large card draw sequences convert directly into victory even if the commander is contested.
