Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Wolverine, Best There Is is the damage doubler the deck is built around. The primary plan is Voltron: suit Wolverine with double strike, trample, and power boosts, then convert the doubled damage into commander-damage kills. The secondary plan uses Ghalta, Red Hulk, and other high-power creatures as backup beaters, with Chandra's Ignition as the only true all-opponents finisher when Wolverine is huge. Wolverine, Claws Out and Wolverine, Fierce Fighter act as hidden commander redundancy in the 99, providing haste, fight value, and extra power doubling as backup threats. The deck is interactive but stack-light and very dependent on keeping Wolverine alive.
