Deck overview

This deck is a classic Golgari Reanimator and Aristocrats toolbox commanded by Meren of Clan Nel Toth. It uses dense one-mana acceleration and efficient self-mill or discard enablers to seed the graveyard in the early turns. Once Meren enters on turn 3 or 4, it leverages continuous end-step recursion to generate card advantage, establish asymmetric creature control, and repeatedly trigger enter-the-battlefield and death effects. The deck controls the game using repeatable sacrifice loops like Accursed Marauder and combat fogs via Spore Frog, while assembling decisive tutor chains through Razaketh, the Foulblooded or Survival of the Fittest. Games are closed out cleanly through non-combat life loss by flinging massive creatures with Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord or chaining life drain with Gray Merchant of Asphodel and Kokusho, the Evening Star.
