Cayth, Famed Mechanist by Veoga

Format: Commander

Commander: Cayth, Famed Mechanist

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This Jeskai artifact-tokens deck, helmed by Cayth, Famed Mechanist, aims to generate a wide board of artifact creature tokens (Thopters, Servos, Gnomes) while layering +1/+1 counters and proliferate effects to go both wide and tall. The commander provides a consistent onboard engine: its first ability grants fabricate 1 to all non-token creatures (building both board presence and +1/+1 counters), and its activated ability flexibly chooses between Populate (doubling the best token) and Proliferate (spreading counters across the entire army). The deck wins primarily through incremental direct damage from pingers like Reckless Fireweaver, Impact of Tremors, and Warleader's Call paired with massive token swarms, secondary combat victories from evasive Thopters and pumped Gnomes, and the alternative win condition Mechanized Production. Proliferation engines such as Metastatic Evangel, Surge Conductor, and Patrolling Peasekeeper accelerate both it and counter-based token generation from Anim Pakal, Thousand Moons and Threefold thunderhulk.
