Deck overview

This is a Boros Dwarf tribal deck helmed by Thorin, King of Durin's Folk, built around a dense Dwarf creature base and a treasure token subtheme. The primary game plan is to flood the board with cheap Dwarves, use their ETB triggers to create Treasures, then leverage those tokens for mana acceleration and powerful payoffs like Magda, Brazen Outlaw's repeatable tutor and Smaug the Magnificent's direct damage. Equipment like Orcrist, Goblin-cleaver and The Reaver Cleaver turn your wide board into a lethal army, while anthem effects from Vanquisher's Banner and An Unexpected Party // At the Door push damage over the top. The deck can also cheat out dragons via Magda and has a handful of board wipes for resetting parity. The commander provides steady treasure generation and a stat boost for other Dwarves, but the deck has enough redundancy to function without him.
