Deck overview

This deck wins by turning Dwarf entries and attacks into Treasures, then converting those Treasures into mana, creature power, Equipment access, and extra combat resources. Thorin, King of Durin's Folk is the central engine: every Dwarf entry creates a Treasure, and the artifact-token count increases the power of the Dwarf team. Magda, Brazen Outlaw, Xorn, Academy Manufactor, and Goldspan Dragon compound that resource plan. Dwarven Recruiter, War of the Last Alliance, The Arkenstone, and Magda, Brazen Outlaw reduce access variance. The normal threat is a turn-8 wide attack supported by Shared Animosity, Dáin of the Ancient Halls, Reyav, Master Smith, Embercleave, or Akroma's Will. The deck can then win through successive combats, but it lacks a compact deterministic combo and remains exposed to sweepers and removal. Its protection is respectable, especially while Thorin, King of Durin's Folk is in play, but the curve and tapped lands keep it in the general Commander range rather than competitive Commander.
