Deck overview

This deck is an Esper enchantment control and Voltron deck commanded by Zur the Enchanter. The game plan revolves around casting Zur on Turn 4 and attacking on Turn 5 to tutor impactful enchantments with mana value 3 or less directly onto the battlefield. Zur constructs his own victory path by fetching unblockable and double-strike Auras like Steel of the Godhead, All That Glitters, and Battle Mastery to eliminate opponents through lethal commander damage. In response to hostile boards, Zur can pivot to search silver-bullet stax pieces like Rule of Law, Energy Flux, or Blind Obedience, or secure permanent defense with Vanishing and Diplomatic Immunity. While the deck possesses great flexibility once Zur attacks, its primary weakness lies in its slow, sequential combat clock and reliance on hitting four mana on curve without dense low-cost acceleration.
