Deck overview

This Baylen, the Haymaker deck is an optimized competitive Commander (cEDH) stax-combo build engineered to control the game pace before executing explosive infinite creature combos. Operating in Naya colors, the deck deploys Turn 2 asymmetric stax pieces such as Collector Ouphe, Null Rod, Stony Silence, and Drannith Magistrate to shut down opposing artifact acceleration and command-zone access. Meanwhile, Baylen, the Haymaker breaks parity by turning small creature and artifact tokens into flexible colored mana and burst card draw. An immense suite of creature tutors rapidly locates one of several compact two-card infinite combos, most notably Rosie Cotton of South Lane with Basking Broodscale, Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker with Village Bell-Ringer, or Dualcaster Mage with Twinflame. Backed by a dense package of silence effects like Grand Abolisher and Ranger-Captain of Eos, the deck reliably shields its win attempts and eliminates all three opponents in a single decisive turn.
