Deck overview

Whiplash, Vengeful Engineer leads a mono-black Voltron and equipment burn strategy. Whiplash costs only one black mana, entering tapped and converting every attached equipment into each-opponent life loss and life gain whenever he attacks. The deck supports this aggressive engine with low-cost equipment, free attach effects, and scalable stat boosters. You win primarily through lethal commander combat damage against one player while Whiplash's trigger drains the rest of the table simultaneously. Secondary paths leverage massive power buffs from Cranial Plating, Nettlecyst, or Blackblade Reforged on alternate threats like Armory Automaton to close out the game.
