Deck overview

This is a Selesnya tokens-and-lifegain midrange deck helmed by Trostani, Selesnya's Voice. The plan floods the board with creature tokens, multiplies them through populate and dedicated doublers, and converts the resulting ETBs into massive life totals via Trostani and the Soul Sisters package. Those life totals then fuel +1/+1-counter engines, alternate win conditions, and enormous combat swings. Primary wins come from Felidar Sovereign, Halo Fountain, or go-wide trampling armies backed by Blossoming Bogbeast, Ghalta and Mavren, and Archangel of Thune. The commander accelerates life gain and provides on-demand populate, but the 99 contains enough independent token makers and lifegain payoffs that the strategy does not collapse without her. The deck plays a classic grindy value game that snowballs once a doubler resolves.
