Deck overview

This Esper enchantment deck, helmed by Zur, Eternal Schemer, is a value-oriented build that leverages enchantment synergies to generate card advantage, board presence, and a compact infinite combo. The primary game plan is to deploy cost reducers and draw engines, then assemble the Exquisite Blood + Sanguine Bond loop for an immediate win. Secondary paths include combat with enchantment creatures animated by Starfield of Nyx or Zur's own ability, token swarms from Sigil of the Empty Throne, and free-spell advantage from Omniscience and One with the Multiverse. The commander provides deathtouch, lifelink, and hexproof to enchantment creatures and can turn non-Aura enchantments into sizable beaters, giving the deck flexibility in both offense and defense. The deck is heavily reliant on its enchantment base, making it vulnerable to mass enchantment removal, but it packs enough recursion and protection to recover from most setbacks.
