Deck overview

This deck is a high-velocity Boros Equipment Voltron build piloted by Raiyuu, Storm's Edge. It aims to leverage Raiyuu's ability to trigger an additional combat phase when attacking alone, doubling both combat damage output and equipment triggers each turn. The early game focuses on deploying cost-reduction cards, attach enablers like Ardenn, Intrepid Archaeologist and Puresteel Paladin, and tutoring heavy stat-boosters like Colossus Hammer or swords. Once assembled on Turn 4, Raiyuu initiates lethal commander assaults on Turn 5, often knocking out one opponent per turn. A dense suite of defensive tools, including Mother of Runes, Deflecting Swat, and Robe of Stars, ensures the solitary attacker survives spot removal and board sweepers. While vulnerable to heavy edict effects and early aggro pressure, the deck presents an explosive, focused combat clock that can systematically dismantle opposing tables in rapid succession.
