Deck overview

This deck is an Orzhov legendary aggro and midrange strategy commanded by Ardbert, Warrior of Darkness. The primary plan leverages a dense curve of cheap legendary creatures, utilizing Ardbert's cast triggers to distribute +1/+1 counters and grant vigilance and menace. By casting white and black spells—particularly multicolored spells that trigger both abilities simultaneously—the board quickly scales into a resilient, evasive combat force. The deck supplements combat damage with asymmetric drain from Commissar Severina Raine and game-ending bursts from Akroma's Will. Robust card advantage engines like Tymna the Weaver and Breena, the Demagogue maintain steady hand refill, while utility legends such as Drana and Linvala and Kunoros, Hound of Athreos disrupt opponent game plans. Late-game resilience is anchored by mass legendary reanimation from Primevals' Glorious Rebirth and death insurance from Ratadrabik of Urborg, allowing the deck to survive sweepers and close out games reliably by Turn 7.
