I Am Fire 🔥 I Am Death 💀 by tonkatsurr

Format: Commander

Commander: Smaug, Wicked Worm

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Smaug, Wicked Worm is at the center of a Rakdos treasures-and-artifacts deck that generates large volumes of tokens, uses them for mana, and converts them into global damage or alternate-win conditions. The deck plays a value/combo hybrid: it can grind out dragon beats and card draw, or chain treasure-making engines into a massive token burst. The commander provides a repeatable ETB that creates more artifacts based on opponent board state and draws cards off Treasure-cast spells. Several independent combo lines and alt-win conditions make it flexible, though it is vulnerable to artifact-specific hate and can be inconsistent if key pieces are interrupted.
