Deck overview

This Sultai deck blends classic Elf-ball aggression with a versatile graveyard toolbox centered around Thranduil, the Elvenking. By stocking the graveyard with specialized activated abilities using Buried Alive, Jarad's Orders, and self-mill spells, Thranduil becomes an adaptable engine capable of generating massive mana through Selvala, Heart of the Wilds, drawing cards via Shadowheart, Dark Justiciar, and pumping the team with Tyvar, the Pummeler. The deck operates on curve, establishing mana ramp and board presence during the opening turns before deploying Thranduil on Turn 5. On Turn 6, the deck presents an explosive combat onset, utilizing anthem effects and team-wide power buffs to eliminate opponents across two swift combat phases. In addition to its graveyard synergy, the list features strong standalone tribal payoffs including Lathril, Blade of the Elves and Coat of Arms, ensuring resilient multi-angle pressure even if the graveyard is contested.
