Deck overview

This Boros spellslinger deck is helmed by Taii Wakeen, Perfect Shot, focusing on scalable noncombat burn, asymmetric board wipes, and card draw through exact-toughness damage triggers. By deploying efficient mana rocks on early turns, the deck sets up Taii Wakeen alongside pingers like Firebrand Archer, Guttersnipe, and Fiery Inscription. Once established, Taii's activated ability turns inexpensive 1-mana sweepers such as End the Festivities and Tectonic Hazard into one-sided board wipes that deal massive damage to each opponent while drawing multiple cards off opposing utility creatures. The deck also harbors an infinite colorless mana combo via Zirda, the Dawnwaker or Rings of Brighthearth with Basalt Monolith and Grim Monolith, enabling infinite damage scaling. Robust protection pieces like Grand Abolisher, Boros Charm, and Restoration Magic ensure the engine executes reliably while keeping opponents under relentless burn pressure.
